The switch doesn't show on my store

• Turn on the "VAT Switch" app embed: Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, then save. The app's overview page has a button that does this.
• Check that VAT Switch is on in the app's Settings.
• The switch only shows in countries with a VAT rate. Check them on the app's Tax rates page.

Some prices don't change

VAT Switch finds prices by itself in Dawn and the themes based on it. For other themes, add the elements that hold prices under Settings → Advanced, or email us and we'll help.

Prices change twice, or the switch shows twice

Your theme may have its own VAT toggle. Remove it from the theme code; VAT Switch waits until it's gone.

Does it change what customers pay?

No. VAT Switch changes how prices are shown in your store. Your checkout charges tax as set in Shopify (Settings → Taxes and duties), so set the app's rates to what your checkout charges.
